What a Smart Little Girl We Have!

Deidra got her first report card of the school year today! I was curious as to how she was going to do since this is the first year that they've done actual grading rather than satisfactory, needs improvement and that sort of thing.

Anyway, here is her report card scores:

Health S
LA (English/Writing/Spelling) 97
LA (Reading) 94
Math 98
Music S
Physical Education S
Science 97
Social Studies 91

Current Reading Level is a 10. She's only expected to read at a level 3-5 for the first 9 weeks...so she's way ahead of the game.

Her citizenship score was an E (Excellent) and she got to go to the Right Choice Rally today for making good choices during the first 9 weeks of school (if they get less than 3 check marks during the grading period, they reward them with a Right Choice Rally). If she gets less than 3 checks for the year, she gets to go on a special field trip with the principal. I am so proud of how well she's doing! I just had to share!
