Postive Ovulation Kit Test

Hi Abba. Well, I think I got my postive on my ovulation kit test this morning. The test says I'll ovulate within 12-36 hours. I've been temping again this cycle as well and it's kinda neat seeing my temps doing what they're supposed to do. I have a lot of twinges around both ovaries as well. Please help me to ovulate this cycle...I've been unsure that I've been ovulating on my own even though my periods have been coming on their own for the last few months (well minus last month). Please help me to ovulate and please help us to get pregnant this month. We've been waiting for so long for this next baby and Deidra is even asking me again when she will get her baby brother and baby sister. I know the timing is all in Your Hands and that Your Timing is perfect. Please let this be the time for us, Abba. Please let everything go smoothly for us and let us have a successful pregnancy. Amen.

Ultrasound

Hi Abba. The ultrasound wasn't pleasant. I have never had a vaginal ultrasound hurt so bad, but she said that my ovaries were in there pretty deep and she had to push hard to see them. I have a couple follicles that are measuring 12 1/2 mm (mature ones are 18-20mm) and she said I had several that were 10 and 11mm. She wants me to start using ovulation predictor kits starting on Friday and seeing when I get my surge. She was going to bring me back in for another u/s on Friday or Monday if we were going to do the insemination, but I just want to try this month and see what happens. I want to make sure that the clomid makes me ovulate before we start shelling out $200-$400 per insemination. If I don't ovulate, they're going to up my dosage of clomid for the next cycle. If I do, then we'll just have to wait out the next couple of weeks to see if I get pregnant. :-) Please help us be successful, Abba. Help us get pregnant again.

Have my ultrasound today...

to check on how my eggs are growing. Please Abba let there be at least one or two mature follicles and help me to ovulate this cycle. Help us get pregnant this cycle and have a successful pregnancy. These meds make me so moody, I hate the way they make me and I know my family and friends can't like it much either. ;-) Please help this work for us this cycle.

Birthday Blessings for Andy

Hi Abba. My Rew is 30 today. Please shower him with Your Blessings this year. We went to see Dave Ramsey at his live event here in GR yesterday and he was so awesome. We knew a lot of the stuff already since we listen to him everyday, but it was different getting to see him live. He was so funny and so enthusiastic and just got us pumped. It was also the fastest 5 hours ever and I couldn't believe all the people that were there. There were lots of high school students and young people there too and I told Andy that it was nice that it wasn't all older people. We'd definitely go to see him again, but we want to get platinum VIP seats next time so we can go have dinner with him before hand too. Please help us stay committed to Dave Ramsey's baby steps so we can get out of debt very soon.

After that, I took Andy to Oasis Hot Tubs for a 1 hour soak in the hottub in the Aleutian room for his birthday present from me. It was nice to just have that 1 hour to ourselves to soak and relax and just spend some quality time together. We came home to find Deidra totally sacked out...Grampy had ran her ragged and she was very very tired. They had a great time at the zoo and then Grampy took her to McDonald's for lunch and let her play for awhile. He said he just let her do her thing and she had a ball. They came home and he cut his grass for the first time (took him 5 minutes since it's literally only about a 50 sf area if that) and Deidra played outside for awhile. She helped him make mac and cheese for dinner and they ate and then she collapsed. I'm glad that he enjoyed the time with her and that she was a very good girl for him. I let her take the camera to the zoo so she could take pics, so it'll be interesting to see how those turned out. She takes pretty good pics for only being 4 1/2. Thank you for giving us some time to relax together and regroup and thanks for letting Deidra and Grampy share some quality time together as well.

Please shower Andy with Your Blessings, Abba. You know all of his hopes and dreams for the future and help him make those happen.

I'm thinking about quitting my job...

Corey has been hounding me for months now to be a head cashier. He's been telling me that I was his first choice and that we all get along (him, me, and the other head cashiers) really well together. He kept pushing my name to the managers when he found out that they were going to be hiring a part time or full-time head cashier. Well, then, we had another head cashier quit a couple weeks ago and he told me that I had to put my name in the pool for head cashier so that he could get me in there. Well, I had the interview last week Wednesday and everything went well. He came up to me last night before I left and asked me if Steve (our operations manager) had talked to me yet and I said no. He then proceeded to tell me that he hoped that I didn't hate him, but that I didn't get the position. He didn't want me to have to give up my 7-4 shifts as that's my shift during the week and whoever got the position was going to have sucky hours as he wasn't going to be available 2 days a week as he had school to finish up. And he said that he couldn't get Joni (one of the other girls who was interviewing for the position) to full-time if they didn't give her the position. He got called away for something else and couldn't finish talking to me and he left saying that it was a hard call and a hard decision to make and that there were a couple other reasons too. Kathy (his favorite head cashier) came up to me saying that Corey didn't know who to hire to do it and that it was really a close call, but that she thought that the sole reason that Joni got it over me was because I had a young child who gets sick from time to time and I'm not dependable enough for them to know when I'm going to be there. Andy and I had talked about the fact that I wasn't going to be able to call in as much when I took the position and we had a plan in place that I was going to go in and do my job until the next supervisor got in and then I was going to go home early so that Andy could go in and do a half day as well. The bottom line is that I've missed 5 days in the last 7 months because she's been sick. It didn't count in my favor that I was sicker than a dog for the last week and a half and I didn't miss one day. Corey told me when I had my review and we talked about attendance that he understood my daughter was important and he didn't hold it against me at all when I had to miss. I just feel in some ways that I was discriminated against because I do have a young child and I feel like if they're going to hold that against me, even though they claim to be such a family oriented company, that it's time for me then to give my daughter her mother back full-time and it's time for me to quit. Andy wanted me to put in my 2 weeks notice today, but I told him I was going to sit on it until Monday and really pray about it. Andy told me he'd pick up an extra job at night to cover the expenses and I could devote myself to my schooling and I could be home with Deidra again like we've both been wanting. I just don't want to screw ourselves if I don't have health insurance (I provide my own benefits) or get us into any trouble financially by missing out on my income. Granted, I only bring home about $400 a month after daycare expenses are paid out anyway, but it's still something that I contribute to bills. I could probably make up for that though in ebay if I could really spend the time on it that I wanted to. Abba, I honestly don't know what to do. I don't want to get us in any financial trouble if I don't have health insurance for awhile in case I were to get really sick and I don't bring home a whole lot of money after you consider in daycare expenses, but I don't want us to get into trouble over lacking that $400 either. Help me know what to do. I've been wanting to be home with Deidra more anyway and maybe this is the answer and why I didn't get the promotion. I know you don't close one door without opening another. Just please guide me to what You think I should do as I just want to please You.

Thanks for a good review...and a work prayer request

Hi Abba...all that worrying over my review and it was all for nothing. I was scored and praised very highly and I am more than likely going to be promoted at the end of October. I just wanted to say thank you for my review.

There are still some issues up there on the front end and I pray that everything will smooth itself out and that we can all get along with one another though. We need some good motivation efforts up there. The pettiness and the criticism all the time is getting hard and old to deal with. All the had work we all do up there under the circumstances needs to be noticed and acknowledged. But, I pray that things will only get better and that the problems will smooth themselves out. I pray that people's feelings will quit being hurt and that we can all learn to communicate effectively with one another.

A Real Job Prospect for Andy and Deidra's Health

Abba, please help Deidra feel better very soon. She's been sick since Thursday morning with a high fever, headache, her back is really sore, and a very very sore throat. We tried to put her in school today with them giving her meds every 4 hours, but her fever spiked again and she was sent home. The doctor wants to see her again tomorrow if she is still running a high fever.

Please be with Andy as he interviews for this position. It's for the DeVos family and all their affairs...providing tech support to their many businesses and their family and all their staff. Andy got called to come in for a 2nd interview with a job he really wanted and thought he had no choice of getting since his interview that he had was over a month ago and he hadn't heard anything. It's between him and another guy, he's got to wear a suit everyday if he gets the job so he's out looking for one to interview in as we speak. He's got mandatory overtime all this week at his job right now, so he's trying to figure out how to get out of part of his shift to interview since the only time the company has available is on Wed from 2 and 2:30. And if D is still sick, I can't afford to miss anymore work as I missed Thursday and Friday last week...and Andy really needs to be at this interview as well as do his mandatory shift. Lots of juggling going around here....please help everything to work out.
